Heritage Rat Documentaries
Hidden amidst the high country of North Eastern Victoria are many long forgotten goldfields, once places of adventurousness, hardship and isolation. Heritage Rat documentaries visit many of these mountain locations today in an attempt to bring these historically important sites back to life. Each film is an entertaining, informative, slightly humorous and visually spectacular look at a remarkable era of our nation's history. Hiking into rugged mountain ranges and rediscovering industrial wonders of the bush, including old mining settlements, underground workings, abandoned mining machinery, tools and strange technologies. All footage is shot on location, wittily presented and interpreted by Andrew Swift and filmed by the steady hand of Sean King. Each of these films is an adventurous journey of rediscovery set in some of the State's most scenic country. http://www.heritagerat.com.au/home.php
